JoeFest 2024 - Fresh Monkey Fiction 1/12 Operation: Monster Force, C.O.P.S. And More

Fresh Monkey Fiction along with Joel from our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com today held a panel at the 2024 JoeFest convention where they announced a number of new figures including that they would be launching a 1/12 line for C.O.P.S.. Bulletproof will be the first figures. Chicken Fried Toys is also doing 4" figures for C.O.P.S. They will have Bulletproof out on display during JoeFest tomorrow, so look for images of that here on TNI.

They also talked about Eagle Force which they have done over 100 different figures over the last 8 years. They are doing Eagle Force Classics which is taking the 80's line and putting them in 4" form with gold outfits. Agents of Impossible which takes place in the 70s and Eagle Force Returns which is the modern line.

Liberty Legion is their modern super hero line. They took public domain characters from 40s comic books and modernized them.

Eagle Force 4" figures will continue. Captain Eagle The Leader and Blockade S.W.A.T. Commander. Also The Arrow who is a sharpshooter and C.L.A.W. Commando who is urban infantry.

4" Operation: Monster Force Vampire Soldier and Crime Lord.

4" The Blade Cuts Both Ways Sonny Yen A.W.O.L. Soldier and Rockwell Tactical Mission Ninja Tooper.

4" Voyager Hellion Intergalactic Bounty Hunter and Star Commanders Major Coco who is a monkey.

They talked about how important pre-orders are for their figures. If they don't get enough pre-orders for something then they can't move forward with it. Also since there is a lot of time between pre-order and release they listen to consumer feedback and can make changes.

They are doing a Kickstarter for a comic book. Justin Bell wrote a 10 page comic. If the comic funds they will unlock a couple more characters in the comic, Blackrope and Shortstop.

Wave 2 of Longbox Heroes will include Arthur from The Tick, Christine Spar from Grendel, Kevin Matchstick from Mage, Equipped For Safety from Madman and Grendel Prime from Grendel. More figures will be coming.

Naughty Or Nice Santa's Sleigh is coming this year. Also Joel from BBTS want to expand the line to other holidays like the Easter Bunny.

Order Of The Crimson Moon which is a line of bad guys. This Kickstarted funded very quickly. Wave 2 is under development which will be good guys. The line takes place in the 70s.

Operation: Monster Force and they are starting production on season 2 figures. Season 3 was announced but will not go up for pre-order until wave 1 has shipped. Operation: Monster Force Kiloworg Night Hunter (Deluxe) figure went up for pre-order today at BBTS.

Season 4 is also under development with Shurukahn and Chatsworth. Season 4 will also see the first two female figures in the line with Red Riding Hood and Agent Harker.

The announced a new line called Soldier of Fortune that will cater to people who like to customize. Close Combat Operative in different colors along with The Saboteur and The Agent. This line will also have weapon accessory sets and head packs. They want to do a flocked headsculpt.
