Timothy Dalton and Alan Tudyk are the newest members of DC Universe’s Doom Patrol when it debuts next year.
Timothy Dalton has been tapped to play Dr. Niles “The Chief” Caulder and Alan Tudyk has been cast as Eric Morden/Mr. Nobody in the upcoming live-action series, which centers on a group of superhuman outcasts who are called to a life-changing mission.
Described as a pioneer in medical science, The Chief searches the world for those on the edge of death. The brilliant but controversial doc will stop at nothing to help those he believes are in need, including the ostracized Doom Patrol heroes.
Mr. Nobody is described as after being exposure to unknown experiments by ex-Nazis in post-war Paraguay, the man formerly known as Eric Morden emerges as a living shadow able to drain the sanity of others as the enigmatic, and totally insane, Mr. Nobody.
Written by Jeremy Carver, Doom Patrol is a reimagining of one of DC’s strangest group of outcasts: Robotman (Brendan Fraser), Negative Man, Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby) and Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero). Led by the mysterious Caulder, they’re called into action by the ultimate hero for the digital age, Cyborg (Joivan Wade). Banding together, these rejects find themselves on a mission that will take them to the weirdest and most unexpected corners of the DC universe.
Carver executive produces with Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Berlanti Prods’ Sarah Schechter. Berlanti Productions produces in association with Warner Bros Television.

We are gonna get a pansexual character who's gonna be in a relationship with Robotman.

That said, awesome! Timothy is my all time favorite Bond and an all around great actor good to hear he's still working.

This is looking very interesting by the day. I know almost nothing about these characters, but I am in. Really hope that works out.
Trailer will only pop next year, but it's ok.

Timothy Dalton, AND Brendan Fraser? That's shaping up to be an impressive cast... especially for a start-up Netflix wanna-be.
I'd actually watch... if it weren't another steaming pile of Berlanti.
