First Look Of Jason Momoa As 'Aquaman' In His Iconic Suit
by Outsiders
October 7, 2018
From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.
The film also stars Amber Heard (“Justice League,” “Magic Mike XXL”) as Mera, a fierce warrior and Aquaman’s ally throughout his journey; Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe (“Platoon,” “Spider-Man 2”) as Vulko, council to the Atlantean throne; Patrick Wilson (“The Conjuring” films, “Watchmen”) as Orm/Ocean Master, the present King of Atlantis; Dolph Lundgren (“The Expendables” films) as Nereus, King of the Atlantean tribe Xebel; Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Netflix’s “The Get Down”) as the vengeful Black Manta; and Oscar winner Nicole Kidman (“The Hours,” “Lion”) as Arthur’s mom, Atlanna; as well as Ludi Lin (“Power Rangers”) as Captain Murk, Atlantean Commando; and Temuera Morrison (“Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones,” “Green Lantern”) as Arthur’s dad, Tom Curry.
Wan directs from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (“The Conjuring 2”) and Will Beall (“Gangster Squad,” TV’s “Training Day”), story by Geoff Johns & James Wan and Will Beall, based on characters created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger for DC. The film is produced by Peter Safran and Rob Cowan, with Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Jon Berg, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada serving as executive producers.
Wan’s team behind the scenes includes such frequent collaborators as Oscar-nominated director of photography Don Burgess (“The Conjuring 2,” “Forrest Gump”), his five-time editor Kirk Morri (“The Conjuring” films, “Furious 7,” the “Insidious” films), and production designer Bill Brzeski (“Furious 7”). They are joined by costume designer Kym Barrett (“The Matrix” trilogy, “The Amazing Spider-Man”) and composer Rupert Gregson-Williams (“Wonder Woman”).
Warner Bros. Pictures Presents a Peter Safran Production, a James Wan Film, “Aquaman.” The film is set to hit theaters on December 21, 2018, in 3D and 2D and IMAX, and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.
“Aquaman” is rated PG-13 for sequences of sci-fi violence and action, and for some language.

Aside from all the Aquaman outfitstuff. I have to also say they really did justice to Black Manta...THAT is one slick looking outfit. It looks practical AND a nice update to the comic look (which is rather bland IMHO...and I'm speaking as a Manta fan). I hope this is more WW and less Justice League from this. I too would love to see the Snyder cut of JL. I happened to like Man of Steel and BVS. Snyder...get's superhero action and it was great seeing Superman be able to cut loose against foes that can actually take and give out superhuman punishment.

This will as comic accurate as it can possibly be. I really really hope the movie is good.
This and Shazam. I really think WB should focus more on these characters than just Batman and Superman. The expectations for those two are always so so high that even the slightest mistake can be fatal.

Admittedly, Zack Snyder is my favorite director and he's still a producer, I hope he does eventually direct a super hero film again someday... and yeah, without him I have no faith in WB, if Aquaman turns out good(which it definitely does look good) that's obviously because of James Wan.
I'm not crazy about this costume, it just doesn't work for me.

Just as long as he doesn't ride in standing on top of 2 dolphins we should be good....or riding anything other than a Shark the size of Texas or even a stolen Batmobile would be acceptable.....
on another note.....women like my girlfriend think this version of Aquaman is very hot, however what "they" fail to factor in is yes he is a man of Godlike stature but he still smells like the Ocean & probably not the good parts...if any...if this is sounds & smells like sour grapes that's okay....it still doesn't smell fishy....good look though...

All you have to do is look at this pic to know Zack Snyder is not working on these movies anymore.
Youd think orange and green would be hard to pull off in a live action film, but I think it turned out great. Props to WB for bringing inthe classic look.
He looks so pimp in the signature orange and green... Its gonna be so awesome seeing him throwing down, donning the suit, in the movie!
