Image Of 'Bane' On The Final Season Of Gotham

We reported back in October from New York Comic Con that for Gotham's fifth and final season, Shane West would be playing the character of Bane. West will be be introduced as Eduardo Dorrance, a former Army friend of Jim Gordon’s (Ben McKenzie), who is gradually transformed into the supervillain.

Entertainment Weekly has released an official look at West in the Bane character after writer and producer Tze Chun posted a set photo of the character on Twitter.

Gotham‘s Bane was described by showrunner John Stephens as “very, very strong, and very angry … we made him integral to the fact of coming in as a special ops government agent.” Season 5 will continue the “No Man’s Land” storyline from the comics, where Gotham City is isolated by the U.S. government from the rest of the country..

“We pick up at the top of season five, at the conclusion of No Man’s Land, Day 365,” Stephens said. “Then, we cycle backwards to day 87, three months into No Man’s Land where Jim has created his green zone and wants his reunification. We’re catching up, and for the first nine episodes, we’re always catching up to that first scene we see.”

The producers have also stated that “the fifth and final season will wrap up this unique origin story of the great DC Comics Super-villains and vigilantes, which revealed an entirely new chapter that has never been told.”

Sorry... I agree - Bane needs more of a mask instead or a rebreather

I am also seeing a hint of Conan OBrien with that lighting...

So much no in this design...it looks like a failed concept for a G.I. Joe villain.

Hmm... Cyborg Scorpion ala Mortal Kombat? Not so much, Bane. Not sure what theyre thinking. But then, Ive felt damn near lobotomized after watching the DC Universe Titans series. So, yea.?

He looks like one of the I Borg characters from Star Trek Next Generation episode.

Once again they are looking for wither a realistic look or like a steampunk look. I kinda always thought that the Gotham villains and some sething was like a retro mixed with the future.

I know that they were trying for that noir look, but didn't get it right.

yeahhh glad I dropped this show after season 2. This show was interesting at first but really went to stupid directions.
