DC's Doom Patrol - 'Happy Holidays' Official Teaser & Character Posters

DC Universe has released a first-look teaser for their next original streaming series "Doom Patrol," which is the live-action adaptation of the beloved DC superhero team of the same name. Check out the teaser above along with a series of character posters in the gallery below.

DOOM PATROL is a re-imagining of one of DC's most beloved groups of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief).

The Doom Patrol's members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities -- but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence -- and to protect Earth from what they find.

Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of TITANS, DOOM PATROL will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.

Doom Patrol will star Timothy Dalton as The Chief, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, Brendan Fraser as Robotman, Joivan Wade as Cyborg, April Bowlby as Elasti-Woman, and Matt Bomer as Negative Man.

Well I thought Titans was gonna suck bad and it didn't. This looks interesting and yes the Doom Patrol ep was ok. So I hope that I am wrong again and this turns out to be good.

Right now the most exciting thing for me is Young Justice and I can't wait to see it. I have waited a long time for this

Gonna have to say, they are going in a super stupid direction with this. I am not feeling this at all. Its like Teen Titans go live action or something.. ?

Ilovedthe Doom Patrol episode of Titans... This teaser, not so much. It felt a little, I dunno, tone deaf, to me. Not funny, at all. It just kinda made me roll my eyes. Plus, I was confused at first by Timothy Daltons cropping up in there at the end. But, apparently theyve recast him in the role as Dr Caulder. Which adds a little more class to the series, I suppose. But, Im thoroughly reserving judgment on this one.

That is a ridiculous design for Cyborg's head prosthetic. There is no reason it shouldn't have covered half of his head.
