New 'Doom Patrol' Poster Features The Whole Gang

February 6, 2019
The new poster below features the whole team from DC Universe's Doom Patrol, which is set to debut on February 15th.

The poster courtesy of ComicBook.com is inspired by Brian Bolland's classic cover illustration for Grant Morrison's DOOM PATROL OMNIBUS. Doom Patrol stars Brendan Fraser as the voice of Robotman (and his pre-transformation identity of Cliff Steele), Matt Bomer as the voice of Negative Man (and again, his human identity of Larry Trainor), Joivan Wade as Cyborg, April Bowlby as Elasti-Girl, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane and Timothy Dalton as the Chief.

DC Universe have also released the official show synopsis:

A re-imagining of one of DC’s most beloved group of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The Doom Patrol's members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities—but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence—and to protect Earth from what they find.

Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of Titans, Doom Patrol will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.

Titans was ok. Better than I initially expected. I have hopes that next season will be better. They will have time to fix the things that didn't work. I also have no high hopes for Doom Patrol which is good because I can be surprised. I liked a lot the new Young Justice. Can wait untll the next part. Some episodes were better but the more adult oriented content is in keeping with the original concept.

Are you referring to the newest season of Young Justice? I havent watched the new one yet, wasnt sure if it was out yet or not. Loved the original show alot. The live action dc shows just putter out real fast for me. I was very into arrow, alittle into flash, alittle into supergirl and alittle into black lightning.. but none really did anything for me. Kind of like what the walking dead is now, cool at first but their fun and intrigue wears off so fast that its just meh afterwards.

This show has me intrigued but I dont have high hopes for it. The DC shows have been ok for a bit but got really boring and stale fast. Id much rather have a new cartoon series instead.
