Yeah I know, I just started thinking about it and thought it was weird but then realized other stuff as I typed. I had the quandary since the original link was from TNIs main page then goes into a link to the forum under entertainment news. Thats where pieces of the puzzle started fitting more. I figured this stuff wouldve fit more in the ENI area but they all kind of combine in the same entity except for Marvelous, Jedi, and TF.

Shes a revenant since MK9. Meaning she died and her spirit was controlled by Quan Chi, but then he died so now shes just a wondering soul. This game has alot of alt costume/customization akin to Injustice 2, so she ll have other looks. There was one where you can make her look alive again as well as unmasked that they showed on the kombat kast earlier today.
