Showrunners Exit FX's 'Y: The Last Man' Adaptation Due to Creative Differences

Co-showrunners Michael Green and Aïda Mashaka Croal announced today that they parted ways with Y: The Last Man, FX’s forthcoming adaptation of Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra’s comic book series. The series was ordered by the network back in February of 2018.

TVLine was informed by the FX network that the co-showrunners left over creative differences and a new showrunner is underway.

Based on DC Comics' acclaimed series Y: The Last Man by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, Y traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event has decimated every male save for one lone human. The new world order of women will explore gender, race, class and survival. Diane Lane stars in Y, leading an ensemble cast featuring Barry Keoghan, Imogen Poots, Lashana Lynch, Juliana Canfield with Marin Ireland and Amiber Tamblyn.
