The swamp fights back in the season finale. Still reeling with the revelation of the truth behind his existence, Swamp Thing goes on the offensive against Ellery’s mercenary team hunting him. Meanwhile, Abby comes up against Jason Woodrue who’s crossed the line to save his wife’s life. And as Liz tries to help Dan Cassidy escape the curse of the Blue Devil and leave Marais once and for all, Avery Sunderland attempts to find a resolution to his relationship with Lucilia and Matt Cable.

Deran Serafian directed the episode which had a teleplay by Erin Maher and Kay Reindl and a story by Rob Fresco.

Guest stars include Ian Ziering as Daniel Cassidy/Blue Devil, Selena Anduze as Caroline Woodrue, Given Sharp as Shawna Sutherland, Al Mitchell as Delroy, Michael Beach as Nathan Ellery, and Jake Busey as Shaw.

I began as a skeptic, but every show on the streaming service was a winner. Doom Patrol is my favorite and Swamp Thing deserves more another season.

Awww man, I was just starting to like this show and was looking forward to seeing how they would integrate Blue Devil into it. Now I find out its cancelled.
