Taika Waititi In Talks For Role In James Gunn's 'The Suicide Squad'

Deadline is reporting that Taika Waititi, the Thor: Ragnarok, and Thor: Love and Thunder filmmaker is in talks for a role in James Gunnís The Suicide Squad at Warner Bros. What that role will be is unknown.

Sources are claiming there will be a table reading for the DC sequel on September 11th with production starting September 23rd for a August 6th, 2021 release. The Suicide Squad was written by Peter Gunn with Chuck Roven and Peter Safran producing and Nik Korda as executive producer

Waititi would join recently announced Nathan Fillion, Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Jai Crtney (Captain Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag) as well as new castmembers Idris Elba, David Dastmalchian (Polka-Dot Man), Daniela Melchior (Ratcatcher), Flula Borg, Steve Agee (King Shark).

With the popularity of Korg,and him doing the voice, I would except it to be a voice over. Maybe someone weird like Chemo

I get the feeling he won't be playing Tuatara or somebody like that but instead Security Guard #2.
