You can always tell when a studio has no faith in a movie. They either bury it in late summer-early fall Hell, or, if they're really desperate for a hit, really hit the "Ooo-Aaah Playbook" and try and sell it with . . . eccentric casting.
Also, is that just a bad picture? She kinda has that bleary-eyed, pale "I snorted my breakfast" look going on.
I like Zoey, and I can see her in the role, I hope they really put some time into establishing her asreoccurring character in the trilogy, last 2 versions of catwoman were always one movie type ofdeal, to see her characterchange and evolve in this new trilogyis definitely exciting.
Another bad idea. Good job DC!
Good thing there aren't any other races on the planet cos this move wouldn't smell so effing transparent. Also as much as I like Zoe as an actress, she lacks the curves for a catwoman, then again they cast Pattison as Battwink so why am I surprised at the Singeresque style bad casting?
I kinda see your point Mako, maybe they think a "black cat" would be scarier. It works for Halloween. I liked Eartha Kitt, but not Halle Barry. If they make her a good script she may be able to pull it off. Hollywierd is always trying to out do the movies that came before. its a hit and miss endeavor most of the time.
(sigh) Here I thought they would try and use characters from the Batman mythos that haven't been used before. Oh well....
At the risk of cheesing off Jay, when did they start trying to make Catwoman black again?
