Whoopi Goldberg's Guinan Heading To Season 2 Of Star Trek: Picard

Today on the talk show The View, Patrick Stewart was featured as a guest so he could promote his new Star Trek: Picard series. While there he took the opportunity to ask his former Star Trek The Next Generation co-star Whoopi Goldberg if she would come be part of the second season of the new series. Goldberg played the character known as Guinan, who's race had almost been entirely wiped out by the cyborg race known as The Borg long before Picard and his Enterprise crew had encountered them. Goldberg excepted Stewart's invitation. Check out the emotional exchange below.

The first season of Star Trek: Picard premiers on CBS Access this Thrusday (1/23).

Well good for her, I haven't watched the first season yet but I am sure its good. I never was a big fan of Whoopi But im glad for her. Anybody who likes Star Trek has some good taste. And I agree with Mako, the Original Star trek is often imitated but never duplicated.

Cool, another classic ST: TNG character brought in to lure fans of the original show into watching a series by people who couldn't pick real Star Trek out of a line-up.

I watched the first episode of Picard and it was awesome. It has the potential of being the best Star Trek series to date IMO
