I definitely enjoyed the first season much more than the 2nd but Im hoping they go more into lore and other familiar characters.

I really liked the first episode and then they introduced Trevor Belmont and it went downhill for me. I expected things to get better in season 2 but they introduced new characters when they barely did anything with the ones they had and the "heroes" spent most of the season spinning their wheels. I do love Dracula's design in the series and I did enjoy that they included Isaac and Hector as I really enjoyed the Devil Forgemaster story line from Curse of Darkness.

M'kay, I'm relly intrigued by the guy with the hat, the stone he's holding and the creature with many eyes in background (Chaos?) 'cause we know they are not from the games.

Oh and there goes my hopes of seeing Grant Danasty appearing in the series.

When I first saw Vampire Hunter D, I thought it had a Castlevania vibe to it, one of the reasons both movies remain my favorite piece of Japanese Animation. As for the series, Castlevania being my all time favorite video game series I was really looking forward to it but I was so disappointed with we got that. I'm hoping season 3 can turn things around for me but I'm not holding my breath.
