AMC announced today during the The Walking Dead Season 10 Comic-Con@Home Panel that the Season 10 Finale of The Walking Dead will air Sunday, October 4 at 9/8c. Additionally, Showrunner Angela Kang announced that six additional episodes of Season 10 will air in early 2021, and confirmed that The Walking Dead Season 11 will not be able to air in its regular October timeslot due to COVID.
The panel, hosted by Chris Hardwick and featuring TWD Universe Chief Creative Officer Scott M. Gimple, Showrunner Angela Kang, Executive Producer Greg Nicotero, and stars Norman Reedus (Daryl), Melissa McBride (Carol), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Josh McDermitt (Eugene), Seth Gilliam (Gabriel), Ross Marquand (Aaron), Khary Payton (Ezekiel), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan), and Paola Lazaro (Princess) previewed the Season 10 Finale with an extended scene showing the return of Lauren Cohan as Maggie.
The assembled cast and creators also held a lengthy discussion of Cohan’s return to the show, what fans should expect in the future for the show, and the current state of their characters.
I am astounded this show is still going on and doesnt seem to be ending. I love the make up and effects but the characters and story have just gone all to hell. No where near as compelling as the comics and kind of hard to watch.
