Welllll it is kind of an homage to the original film... which was the EXACT same styling except they made the dragon logo HUGE in the poster instead of dinky like this. I would also guess this is just a sort of teaser poster and not exactly what will be used to fully promote it.

Sorry to chime in, the logo is very well made and probablyby that same graphic designer. The movie's art direction and marketing campaign is not the designers' responsibility. And as a graphic designer myself... the only impressive thing about our paycheck is how low it is.
