Variety is reporting that Ron Livingston has replaced Billy Crudup in "The Flash" movie and will portray the eponymous superhero’s father, Henry Allen.

Crudup stepped down and departed the role because of scheduling conflicts for the Apple TV Plus drama "The Morning Show."

The upcoming Warner Bros. film, slated to release in theaters on November 4th, 2022, marks the first standalone adventure for the Flash. His character previously appeared in “Justice League” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
