I saw it the other day and i am so astounded at how much I enjoyed it. The characters felt new and not just carbon copies of the original and were very very likable. The overall story was interesting and entertaining and the actors were pretty good. It didnt feel forced and felt very natural. It even has some good homages and some fun nods to the previous movies. I am very happy with this movie and glad it wasnt anywhere close to what I was expecting. GO SEE IT!
Just saw the movie earlier today, I enjoyed it, it's pretty much what I thought it would be, it is a fun nod to all of the fans, but with of course new fans in mind, but the characters I found quite great and likeable especially Mckenna Grace's character Phoebe, Logan Kim as Podcast and Paul Rudd's Character, the movie of course had very sweet cameos from the OG 3 (no spoiler we know it), it had decent pace, some laughs, and a decent structure with story and character development, I liked it, but hey thats me.
It looks far better than the last thing they attempted. It will definitely not be AS good as the first two but nostalgia is hard to break when it comes to movies. Also hard for studios to recreate and create something new from something fondly already established. I will definitely check it out. It kind of has a mix of goonies to it which helps.
I'm still down for this movie, looks cute and fun, and has some neat ghosts, and some nostalgic elements, I will reserve judgment until I see it, but I'm very much on board, it is what it is.
I'm not one to judge before I see a movie but I watched this clip twice and it's turning me off from seeing this movie. IMO, the clip just shows a bunch of kids who are wet behind the ears and barely into puberty thinking they can run around and bust ghosts.
I cant wait for this movie to finally come out so it cant finally go away. The talk has gone on too long. It will be bad. Done.
