Disney+ And LucasFilm Teaming Up For 'Indiana Jones' TV Series

by Outsiders
November 8, 2022
Variety is reporting from sources within that Disney is looking to develop an Indiana Jones series for Disney+.

Disney and LucasFilm are looking to team up and have been having meetings with numerous writers to create a streaming show set in the world of archaeologist. No information has been provided if the series will serve as a prequel to or spinoff of the film franchise, or if it would tie into the upcoming fifth Indiana Jones film. Disney is looking to keep the franchise going with either a new series, film or other types of media after Harrison Ford stated that the fifth Indiana Jones movie will be his last.

I've been wanting Indy to come back as an animated series or movie for years now. That way you can get Harrison Ford Indy and not have to deal with him being too old for the part.

Exactly!

Am I the only one who wants this to be an animated series like "what if" so he can still have Harrison Ford's likeness? I mean, maybe with better quality like Arcane...
