I think this could work out great. With a proper script and a production team that loves the games to honor it's essence, I see it working as a kind of LOTR meets John Wick (because of the silent main character)

Yeah, I think that would have been a better choice, but I'll try to reserve judgment until we see a trailer. Super Mario Brothers and the two live-action Sonic movies have shown that there is a strong market for big-budget video game inspired movies that aren't terrible. Hopefully they'll give this movie the big budget that it needs (and the great writing that it REALLY needs).
Honestly the biggest surprise here is that it took this long, I don't know how we never saw a Legend of Zelda movie in the 90's crazy.
I'm kinda stoked about it, let's find out.

That would be so much cooler than live action! I have a hard time envisioning a real person not looking like a dork dressed up as Link in his classic green getup. And if they deviate from that look too far, it wouldn't feel true to the games (I guess they could go with the Breath of the Wild look which might translate a little better, but if I am being honest, I wouldn't want that to be the look they use for a Zelda movie). I guess we'll have to see what happens...

I hope they dont slaughter my favorite childhood video game franchise
