A promotional video showcasing behind-the-scenes footage from Season 2 reveals Tom Sturridge's character, Dream (also known as Morpheus), as he interacts with his siblings and encounters several recognizable characters from Neil Gaiman's comic book series. The clip includes performances by Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Mason Alexander Park, and Donna Preston, portraying Dream's siblings: Death, Desire, and Despair.
The sneak peek also reveals Laurence O’Fuarain portraying Thor, Freddie Fox as Loki, and Clive Russell in the role of Odin, alongside various other mythical figures from Gaiman’s comics. The second season of The Sandman is set to debut on Netflix in 2025.
