It's Wednesday and you know what that means... ToyFarce review!
This week, we're having a look at the new wave of Star Wars helmets from Lego, which includes The Mandalorian, Luke Skywalker's X-Wing pilot helmet and the Dark Trooper! I have really been enjoying that line of helmets from Lego. It's the perfect compromise between having a Lego set to build and having a nice bust to display. Some translate into Lego form better than others (looking at you, Iron man helmet...), but that wave is all killer, no filler!

These are pretty fun builds which take about 2h to build, quick and easy. Each helmet has 4-5 bags of Lego pieces.

First, everyone's favorite Mandalorian, with his beskar helmet. This was basically a slightly simple version of the Boba Fett one from the first wave, since the Boba Fett has the extra articulated antenna. This was the simplest one to build out of the 3. It has a few shiny pieces which makes it look great.

Luke's X-Wing pilot helmet is my favorite of this wave, since I did not expect it. It was also a fun build, it has lots of details and it looks very good. The orange glasses are transparent, and there's even the chin strap and tiny microphone. A few stickers that were, as usual, not fun to apply (you only have one chance!), but most of the prints were already on the pieces. Definitely looks great on the shelf!

The Dark Trooper is the only one of this wave that is an exclusive, only available at the Lego store/Lego's website. I was afraid it wouldn't look great, since, like the Tie Fighter pilot helmet, it's a lot of black Lego pieces, and might just look like a black Lego pieces blob. It turns out the Dark Trooper translates very well in Lego form! The red eyes and all the shapes and details look really nice on it.

It's a great line if you don't have enough space to display the gigantic spaceships, but still want to build some fun Star Wars lego sets. I'm really interested to see which ones they are going to do next!
