McFarland.
MacFairlane.
McFreemont.
McFragglerock. We've all seen
Todd McFarlane's name butchered to death by fans, whether they love or hate him (
even if a large part won't ever admit that they like some of his products, to look cool on the internet).
The latest wave of spelling mistakes came with the announcement of the
Munitions Pack, a weapon pack for all
McFarlane Toys 7-inch figures, something that fans had been demanding for a long time, especially with the
DC Multiverse figures not being able to have firearms, and 'fans' didn't disappoint:
"
MacFairlane Toys is finally doing something right, but the weapons should have come with the figures in the first place!" (It has been documented for a while that it is a Warner Bros thing, though).
"
McFarland's weapon pack is cool, but the weapons won't probably fit with other brands... SMH" (as if McFarlane had an obligation to make weapons for other toy lines...).
"
McFairmont's weapon pack sucks! Mezco did it better." (This is an actual comment I read. "McFairmont". I hope autocorrect was involved...).
As a
P.S.A. for future releases, please remember: It's
Mc-Far-Lane.
McFarlane Toys.
