Starting Lineup in 2022. Who would have thought? The return of
sports action figures has been making the rounds over the last few days, as the
Starting Lineup... starting lineup (
lol) has been revealed, and the first wave will have
8 NBA players, complete with modern articulations, the right outfits and even accurate
sneakers! But one fan decided that it wasn't good enough, as the new figures have
way too much articulations to deserve the name "Starting Lineup"...

The real Starting Lineup figures should barely have any articulations! Or at least, they should be stuck in a pose, and have 2 points of articulations that are useless because they would break that pose, so nobody uses them. Back in my day, that is how it was." complained the collector. "
Also, have you seen the new figures? They look exactly like the actual NBA players! The real Starting Lineup figures hardly looked like the actual players, and we were fine with it! It was like if someone had drawn a cartoon version of them from memory, blindfolded. It should still be like that!"
As most are now complaining the
prices of things,
ghost riders and
toy cars, it is refreshing to see that we can still find other things to be upset about.
