MAFEX Batman: Hush - Poison Ivy Review and Images

This week, we're having a look at the Poison Ivy figure from the Batman: Hush line from MAFEX. The latest entry in that amazing line, Ivy was one I was really looking forward since she is one of my favorite villains in Batman's rogue gallery.





Pamela Isley, aka Poison Ivy comes with an extra head, 7 extra hands, 2 suitcases (one open and one closed), a wad of cash, and several vine/plant effect pieces to add to the figure. The figure arrives 'nude', and you attach the vine/plant pieces on her to make her look more 'full'. It's a fun feature, and the vines look better on the figure than if they were just painted on her, but it does make her a bit trickier to pose/play with. They tend to fall off when you play with her articulations.







Speaking of articulations, just like the Catwoman and Harley Quinn figures before her, it's a beautifully articulated female figures (which could have used a thigh swivel, especially since it would have been covered with the vines, but one can only dream). The colors really pop and she definitely catches the eye when looking at that MAFEX Batman: Hush shelf, which is now 10 figures strong (11 if you count the black and grey Batman repaint)!











Riddler and Scarecrow will be the next figures in that line, and we do not know yet if there will be more (I believe a Robin was rumored). My theory about MAFEX doing the same lineup figures that DC Direct did 20 years ago is still valid (why else would they have done the Stealth Suit Batman otherwise?). That would leave Commissioner Gordon, Ra's Al Ghul and Alfred, which I highly doubt MAFEX will get to ^^
