Listings

More listings of McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse action figures have been found online, after a pet store in Malaysia (it's always an overseas retailer, isn't it?) posted them on their website! After the success of the Batman and Robin wave, McFarlane Toys seems to have decided to continue with action figures from classic, fan-favorite movies!

The Malaysian store, which specializes in tropical fish, reptiles and small animals posted the following listings on their website:

DC MULTIVERSE 7IN – GREEN LANTERN (2011 MOVIE) HAL JORDAN
DC MULTIVERSE 7IN – GREEN LANTERN (2011 MOVIE) SINESTRO
DC MULTIVERSE 7IN – GREEN LANTERN (2011 MOVIE) KILOWOG
DC MULTIVERSE 7IN – STEEL (1997 MOVIE) STEEL
DC MULTIVERSE 7IN – CATWOMAN (2004 MOVIE) CATWOMAN

DC MULTIVERSE 7IN – GREEN LANTERN (2011 MOVIE) HAL JORDAN UNMASKED (GOLD LABEL)
DC MULTIVERSE 7IN – STEEL (1997 MOVIE) STEEL UNMASKED (GOLD LABEL)
DC MULTIVERSE 7IN - CATWOMAN (2004 MOVIE) PATIENCE PHILLIPS (BASKETBALL SCENE)(GOLD LABEL)

You read that right! Our prayers have finally been answered! We will get a DC Multiverse wave of action figures from the Green Lantern movie! Confirmed so far are Hal Jordan (played by Ryan Reynolds), Sinestro (Mark Strong) and Kilowog (voiced by the late Michael Clarke Duncan). There's also an unmasked Hal Jordan "Gold Label" figure. Crossing fingers for Tomar Re and a Gold Label version of Sinestro, with his Sinestro Corps suit (from the most frustrating tease of all time)!

Additionally, we will get long-awaited figures from the glorious 1997 superhero movie Steel with Shaquille O'Neal, and from the 2004 movie Catwoman with Halle Berry. Fans have been waiting for a loooong time to finally get 7" figures of those, which will also include Gold Label versions, with an unmasked Steel, and a figure of Patience Phillips (Halle Berry) from that classic basketball scene in Catwoman.

Catwoman

3 years ago, ToyFarce reported leaks of a Batman and Robin wave, people laughed, and look where we are now... Can't blame a person for trying! (Review of that Batman and Robin wave coming soon!)

More news at 11:00... Hey, it worked the first time around...

To be honest, I can actually see Todd do some of these, even if this is a joke article. Not sure about the Gold Label Unmasked Halle Berry Catwoman though. In regards to 1997 Steel, I can see Shaq sign off on his likeness, since he's be been in a number of advertising items recently(Brother Ink Printers, some sort of cream for pain, and what not).

For real though, in regards to Batman & Robin, I do hope they do the Terrific Trio in their "Ice"/What I'm assuming was Anti-Freeze Costumes with the Silver Highlights. Will defently get Batgirl since I did like her "Ice" Costume look more(For those who don't known, these suits with the silver highlights were referred to as "Ice" Costumes in production notes, though a few marketing products did label them as Ice Costumes as well). Heck, I may even buy 3, so that I can leave 1 normal/alone, and the other 2 painted as Barabra Gordan(1 with just the hair painted red, and the other with red hair and the silver parts painted gold). Though knowing Todd, he'll have the regular 1 be the normal eye mask only version, and the Gold Label with the Cowl.Would also be down for the Final Battle version of Poison Ivy, with the Red Top and Black Pants.

Todd should produce Batman/Batman Returns figures, like Batman, Joker, Penguin, & Catwoman in a wave, then a Batman Forever wave of Batman, Robin, Riddler, & Two-Face. Those would be immediate sell outs. He could do separate Batman & Robin figures like Poison Ivy bee-hive hair-do, Bane, & Mr. Freeze in his blue fuzzy robe too.

I honestly don't understand his doing figures from failed DC movies, although Ryan Reynolds' Green Lantern will be a big seller. Shaq's Steel might do well, but Halle Berry's Catwoman is truly iffy.

It's a Toyfarce article, it's not real.

I'll be surprised if he doesn't do at least a Batman Returns wave though, after the feeding frenzy that's been this past Batman & Robin wave. And I'll be deeply disappointed if we don't get a fuzzy slippered Mr. Freeze, now that you've put that idea in my head.

I'd buy a Shaq steel and Halle Berry Catwoman.

Although Super7 already has "The Worst" brand up and running, it's a really good idea to make highly articulated versions from movies that were nominated for razzie awards lol.

Not gonna lie, I was lowkey excited for a Kilowog for a second, even if it was the movie version.

I can tell this is fake by the fact that Gold Labels aren't comprising 90% of the listing.

I'm having flashbacks to loads of those initial GL movie figures pegwarming hard years ago lol. Probably won't be the case this time however.
