Hot Toys The Batman (Deluxe Edition) 1/6th Scale Figure Review and Images

This week, we're having a look at the Deluxe Edition of 1/6 scale action figure of The Batman by Hot Toys. This might be Hot Toys' best Batman figure yet! Don't get me wrong, all the previous ones look great, but had a full body rubber suit that hindered articulations, while this one has a suit made of soft goods and can move a lot better.

The box of the Deluxe Edition is pretty big, has only one insert but it is packed to the brim. There is an additional small insert in it with all the accessories and extra hands.








(Right out of the box, it's already pretty stunning)


The Batman comes with 3 different mouth plates (normal, mouth open, showing teeth), a Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) head sculpt with 2 different hair pieces, an empty cowl, 3 pairs of hands, 2 batarangs, handcuffs, utility tools to put in his belts (fun!), a grappling hook, a wired grappling hook and a Riddler Card, and the Deluxe Edition adds the Wing suit from the movie, a big gargoyle base and a backdrop.












This figure is pretty incredible. While taking pictures, I had to stop a couple of times to just stare at it. It looks very... real? A lot of the accessories can be put in the pouches all around his belt, which is neat (less accessories to store!). The likeness with the cowl is pretty spot on, while the unmasked head is very close too, meaning you can tell it's Robert Pattinson, but somehow, something is slightly off, and you can tell it's a figure. Don't know if that makes sense...














The wing suit is a pretty fun addition to the set, but I mainly got the Deluxe Edition for the Gargoyle base, because what would Batman be without a Gargoyle stand to brood on? The base is pretty big and even has lights (which I realized after finishing packing everything up... The stairs have a red light in them). I do not think a lot of people will display him in the wing suit, though...










A fantastic figure by Hot Toys, by far their best Batman.
