San Diego Comic Con weekend, which means that
anything that we write will completely lost in the shuffle, but we keep grinding, because that is what we do! A collector who attended the convention told us that he was
STARSTRUCK after meeting a few of the '
celebrities' from the toy community he met at the convention. ToyFarce investigated...
We sat down with
Mark, a toy collector from California, who told us about his experience at
SDCC: "
I was there for Day 1, and it was so awesome!! So many reveals and cool stuff!! And I saw so many people that I love! In the morning, I was standing in line, and I think I saw Jay C taking pictures at a booth! Can you believe that? Then, I was right behind Shartimus Prime in a queue to pick up a figure. I think I also saw MCUCollector24, he walked right next to me! And I think I spotted Pixel Dan after that! I also saw the guys from Toymigos, the Enablers, Toy Anxiety, etc... Then there were all the guys from the companies at their respective booth! I saw Ryan at the Marvel Legends booth, Trevor and Blaine from NECA, Peter, Hector and Alex from Mondo, Juhn from Jada Toys, etc... they were all there! I was in the same room as all those people!"

After the first day, when I went back to the hotel, I was in the elevator, and some dude came in the elevator as well. He saw my lanyard from the con, so he asked me if I was enjoying it. I told him about all the guys that I had just seen, and that it was so awesome to see them. He smiled and said he was happy for me. When we arrived at his floor, right before getting out, he asked me if I wanted an autograph, which I thought was weird... Apparently he was some famous person called Chris Hemsworth. Not sure I ever heard of him, he must have a toy channel on Youtube, I guess... He was very nice, though!"

Used to shop at Toy Anxiety back when I lived in Arizona. I miss that place Kind of surprised they got name dropped as I didnt realize they were even known outside of like Phoenix.
Edit: after looking into it further, I am not sure I am talking about the say Toy Anxiety. There is a toy shop in Phoenix call Toy Anxiety, but it looks like the article may be referencing some youtubers. Not sure if the two are related or not.
It should be the other way around .. if you get what I mean ..! ?

So Hasbro Selfie series has nothing to do with this trend... I toytally agree on that some niche filmmakers not really worth it.
Ha! Okay that celeb if geek out abt. But I'd be stoked about the torturers too.
