ToyFarce News: Back to School - Collector Accidentally Packs Action Figure in Zipper Bag for Kid's Lunch!

The inevitable has finally happened, when a toy collector, who is also a parent, mixed up his zipper bags and sent his kid to school with an action figure in a zipper bag instead of a sandwich! What exactly happened? How could it have been avoided? ToyFarce investigated...

It was an early wake up call for Donovan's family this Monday, as the young one is heading back to school. Donovan, a long time action figure collector, had spent most of his Sunday night sorting his collection, putting some action figures in zipper bags in a storage bin, while taking some other out to switch things around in his display: "I do not have enough space to display all, so I have a part of my collection displayed in my toy room, and the rest in storage bins." said Donovan. "I like to switch things around every few months so that I can enjoy the ones that are in the bins as well."

Come Monday morning, after waking up early to help his son prepare for his first day of school, Donovan accidentally grabbed one of the figures in the zipper bags from the night before, instead of the sandwich that he had packed that morning. "I was not fully awake, and I saw the shape of a zipper bag, and just slid it in my kid's lunch bag, without paying attention. I only noticed later, when I was about to close the storage bin, and noticed a sandwich in a bag on top of the figures in the bin..."



The little boy is said to have been very popular in school that day, although a bit hungry, with other children envying his cool McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Batzarro action figure while all they had was a boring sandwich. "Now, he's certainly gonna ask if he can bring more of them to school..." sighed Donovan.
