"
I woke up early for this, thinking that it would sell out in seconds, and it was still available a few hours later. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined." Those are the words from Jeremy, a collector from Oregon who had set an alarm clock at the crack of dawn in order to be able to secure an exclusive action figure.

"
I woke up at 5:55am PT to be able to order an exclusive figure that was dropping at 8am CT." said Jeremy. "
I logged in, made sure all my payment details were already there, and kept refreshing the page for a few minutes. When the figure appeared, I added it to my cart and checked out 'with the quickness'. It felt really good and I felt really accomplished, so I went back to bed to catch a few more hours of sleep..."
"
When I woke up a few hours later, I checked social media, hoping to see dozens of posts about collectors not being able to grab it, saying it sold out in seconds, or that they are looking for one at reasonable price (probably for their sons, it's their birthday. Lots of kids born that day!), but there was nothing about it. It was confusing... I went to the store website, only to see that it was still in stock and available for order. I immediately felt BETRAYED. I lost all interest in that figure. It doesn't feel 'special' anymore. I'm really close to cancel my order..."
Many collectors were happy that they were able to get the figures easily, without hassle, but rest assured:
there will always be some that will find something to complain about.
