It's
Wednesday and you know what that means:
ToyFarce review!
This week, we're having a look at the
Mythic Legions Ninian Infantry from the
Four Horsemen Studios! First released as a surprise drop during
LegionsCon in November 2024, the
Ninian Infantry is a fantastic snake/reptile-like figure. After drooling over pictures of it for the last few months, I took advantage of the
Four Horsemen Studios' "
In Stock Sale" last month to grab one. It is also a nice tease for the upcoming
Coatl race figures from the
Reign of the Beasts wave.
The
Ninian Infantry comes with
2 heads, a lot of
hands (6 pairs!), a
spear, a
mace and a
shield, along with his
shoulder pauldrons and
necklaces. The 2 heads are fantastic, one with a cold, reptilian expression and one hissing ("
HISSSSSS!"). The details and paint on that figure are outstanding. The scales on his back in red and dark blue really pop. It has a bendy tail. I love that his armor is golden, and he has a necklace. The bright blue soft goods loincloth adds a nice contrast to the already very colorful figure. It's just
amazing!
In terms of parts, I believe the
scaled body is the same one from the
Cosmic Legions shirtless
Olek Thygar figure, which is really smart. I was already excited about the
Coatl figures from the upcoming wave, and I am even more now. An awesome surprise drop for
LegionsCon!
