Like others here have said the Mattel BAF version still holds up well and in scale but I'm really glad I got the McFarlane Clayface as well. I really like the faces of his former disguises that appear over his body. Very nice figure.

Even though I'm still leaning towards the first Mattel version, mainly due to the animated series inspired look, I have to acknowledge McFarlane's figure is easily the best looking Clayface figure sculpt wise. If I don't manage to snag that very first Mattel fig I'm definitely getting this figure if it falls in price.
