DC Comics Takes Top Spot In Diamond's Dollar Share Chart For August

DC Comics is in the number one spot in the Comics, Magazines and Graphic Novels Dollar Share Chart for August, as reported by Diamond Comic Distributors. DC also leads the field this month in the Top 50 Graphic Novels and Top 10 Posters charts.

"We've had a very strong summer, thanks to the continued success of BATMAN, as well as the explosive debuts of SUPERMAN/BATMAN, OUTSIDERS, TEEN TITANS, the double-shipping issues of JLA and so much more," says Bob Wayne, DC's VP - Sales & Marketing. "Reaching the top of this chart is extremely gratifying - and we're looking for even stronger sales in the months to come."

The Top 50 Graphic Novels chart is led by VERTIGO's Y: THE LAST MAN - CYCLES TP (STAR19350), followed by the BATMAN: HONG KONG HC (STAR19275), while the JLA: LIBERTY & JUSTICE POSTER (FEB030235) is in the number one position on the Top 10 Posters chart, followed by the GREEN LANTERN POSTER(FEB030234).
