May 14, 2010
TNI: Since the first two TRU exclusive MOTUC/DC 2-packs seem to be selling pretty good, will we being seeing anymore of these?

Mattel: These packs are doing well and we hope to have an announcement about the future of this TRU line come SDCC!

TNI: Will Mattel be doing any more Star Trek replica ships?

Mattel: You will have to ask our friends at and here at we only handle Mattel’s action figure lines like DCUC, WWE, MOTUC, Ghostbusters and more.

TNI: The new Batman movie was announced to be released in July 2012, will you be doing figures for it and if so what scale?

Mattel: We’re not yet ready to announce our 2011 lines let alone our 2012 plans. Stay tuned!

TNI: Will be doing figures based on the new Young Justice animated series?

Mattel: It is too early to tell. Ideally we will have more to announce at SDCC.

TNI: Will the retro style line be the only versions of "Real Ghostbusters" figures Mattel does or will there be 6" or 12" versions as well?

Mattel: For 2010 we are starting off with the Retro Action style. That does not mean we won’t explore other scales for the animated series Ghostbusters later down the road!
