THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON PICTURES HAVE BEEN POSTED

The long awaited addition to our Universal Monster line can finally be shown to the public! This 12" Creature from the Black Lagoon' figure is fully articulated and comprised of a film-accurate monster portrait, solid PVC hands, feet, and a rubber wet-suit.

The construction of the wet-suit is nearly identical to the original film costume, with separate upper and lower portions. The body section wet-suit covers almost all visible joint lines and stretches to allow for a strong range of posing options. The Creature will also include a fossilized 'Creature' hand in 1/6th scale, as well as a support base with 'The Creature from the Black Lagoon' film logo. Click here for more information.




FRANKENSTEIN IN 1/4 SCALE SHOWCASED AT COMIC CON

Recreated in 1/4 scale, our brand new Frankenstein Monster figure is Sideshow Collectibles premier version of the Karloff classic. The Figure is constructed on a soft body that houses a semi-posable wire armature and captures the classic posture of the Monster. The boots have a subtle flocking mimicking the texture of the real costuming and the garments are all exact, including the sleeve lining in the jacket.

An all-star development team came together to make this figure a reality: Sideshow's Sculpture Director Mat Falls captured the portrait and hands of the Monster; The clothing design and figure fabrication was done in association with world renowned large scale figure artist Greg Mowry; The figure's paint design was done by Sideshow's lead painter Tom Gilliland. ULTRA LIMITED GANDALF THE GREY BRONZE STATUE

A wonderfully expressive piece of art depicting Gandalf at battle with the Balrog. All of the power and majesty of the wizard is on full display in this expertly sculpted piece by Gary Hunt. Cast in the traditional lost wax process, each piece is individually crafted to the highest standards by experienced bronze craftsmen. Gandalf's cloak has a special acid washed patina that gives the piece a unique but subtle shading. The statue is engraved with its edition number as well as the signature of the sculptor. Each piece is mounted on a solid marble base that raises it's overall height to 27". The edition size is limited to only 36 pieces with 4 artist proofs worldwide. Click here for more information.




GOLLUM ARRIVES AT SIDESHOW/WETA COLLECTIBLES

Gollum has finally arrived at Sideshow/Weta Collectibles in the form of a 3/4 scale polystone bust. The head and neck portion of Gollum are expertly captured in this nearly life-sized collectible. The bust is made out of heavyweight polystone and adorned with a Gollum nameplate, the Lord of the Rings logo, and the hand-numbered edition size. SRP is $250 per figure.
