Barnyard Commandos Wave 1 Up For Pre-Order At BBTS

by Jay Cochran
October 15, 2020
The new line of Barnyard Commandos coming from Premium DNA/Megalopolis Toys are now available for pre-order at our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com.

The Rebel Army of Militant Sheep (R.A.M.S.) and the Platoon of Rebel Killer Swine (P.O.R.K.S.) are at it again, and this time they are highly articulated, highly detailed, and ready to fight for the farm!

Each Barnyard Commandos action figure features 26-30 points of articulation and multiple accessories with interchangeable pieces. Figures are 1:12 scale and stand around 5” tall. The wave includes Sergeant Wooly Pull Over, Major Legger Mutton, Corporal Hy Ondahog and Private Side O’Bacon.

In an effort to be as transparent as possible with our readers, we want to note that Megalopolis Toys which have a role in making these figures are also an online etailer that have been a sponsor on this site in the past. If you are not aware, they have been experiencing recent problems on the etailer side of their business. You can read more about the steps they say they are taking to fix those problems on their Facebook page here. We point this out mainly to say that if you choose to pre-order the Barnyard Commando figures through BBTS, and for whatever reason the manufacturer failed to get these figures to market, you would find your pre-orders canceled. If you have any concerns about pre-ordering these figures, we recommend you contact BBTS directly with any questions or concerns you might have.

He is decisive on the battlefield and confident, though his pride will not allow him to wear the glasses he is in much need of. His terrible vision causes even his most loyal R.A.M.S. to scatter when he pulls out his missile launcher.Barnyard Commandos Stealth Ops Corporal Hy OndahogAs the sun goes down, these bastioned beasts prove that the battle for the barnyard never sleeps! The new Barnyard Commandos: Stealth Ops action figures by Premium DNA feature grayscale deco for camouflaging into deep cover on the darkened battlefield. He loves the smell of rocket fumes, the taste of dust, and explosions echoing through the barnyard battlefield. Even after losing an eye in the war, he never hesitates to engage his rocket launcher on the battlefield. Out of combat he likes to mud wrestle and play pigskin without a helmet.Barnyard Commandos Stealth Ops Private Side O'BaconAs the sun goes down, these bastioned beasts prove that the battle for the barnyard never sleeps! The new Barnyard Commandos: Stealth Ops action figures by Premium DNA feature grayscale deco for camouflaging into deep cover on the darkened battlefield. Wooly is not known for thinking things through. He's ready for action! And though he has a sense of humor, he doesn't bother. As he loves to say, "Wooly never jokes."

I already own a good chunk of the original figures, these really startled me when I saw them because I feel like they don't look a huge ton better then the originals in terms of general asthetics, yes better materials and articulation, accessories etc, but as a static figure.. meh, I was initially very onboard but I have ultimately decided to pass on this line, I already ordered the entire wave 1 of Madballs and I'm certainly going to be committed to that line, and I am very excited to see what Battletoads, EWJ and Clayfighter stuff looks like.

I echo the sentiments that these look really cool but not something I would collect.

These look really great but I was never into them even back then. Great concept for a toy line tho and very nostalgic. Im more interested in their next properties they are going to show. Gimme dat earthworm jim, battletoads and clayfighter. Suuuuuuper curious to see what they do with them after seeing their madballs and these!

These things look as good as any of the other retro toy lines that are coming out right now, but much like the Silver Hawks (if they were to come out) I just have too much on my plate right now. Good for all who can find space for these guys. They do look really cool.
