They're definitely real figures (unless the company goes under before they can actually make 'em lol), but I think they come with "a unique digital avatar (read: NFT)"; separate from the purchases of the figures, they also seem to be distributing their comic as an NFT, with different levels of rarity for different "versions" (silver, gold, etc.).

The name "MetaTravelers" set off alarm bells in my head, so I looked on the website for these. While they don't seem to use the term "NFT" anywhere on the site, there definitely seems to be some NFT/metaverse/"Web3" nonsense going on with these.
