I don't want to start an internet argument or anything, z0mbie but I just want to say...why can't we at least get pre-orders? Why does that Mexican dealer at Comic-con that everyone raged about get ALOT more toys than everyone else in line when, y'know, no one was allowed to buy that many figures at once anyways? And the damn monkey issue....Yeah, Mattel is doing some awesome stuff but....damn....lot's of kinks need to be worked out here, yo....
But yes.....spoooooot-floooooock!!!! Like a manly mountain...um, moss man!
There's a subscription service. That's your pre-order. As for SDCC, it's always been first-come, first-serve, unless you're a friend of the employees or a dealer. I don't see how anyone expects that to change anytime soon. Capitalism and Nepotism aren't new concepts.

I think spot-flocking actually looks pretty awesome.
l think spotflock seen in the image is the best route to go
While I don't collect the line as of yet, he looks awful not un-flocked!!! I mean no amount of shading or washes would do him justice!! Just push him back and do him right, flocked!!! But really since when does Mattel listen to the fans!! They'll do whatever!! If everyone wants flocked Moss Man, then they'll go the opposite route I bet!!
I'm getting really, really damn tired of this. Ever since the 200X line ended, people were requesting a revival of MOTU. It was always admitted, by both fans (at least the ones who are smart enough to comprehend the way a business works) and Mattel that a revival on store shelves was impossible because stores wouldn't buy them after the 200X series. So what did they do? Give up? No, they created a website in order to make and distribute a property that is incredibly beloved by fans and, while there have been a few hiccups here and there, most people are incredibly happy with the figures they've gotten so far and are getting in the future. The figures are extremely high-quality, amazingly accurate updates of the original versions, and the line itself is a runaway critical success. People may not be happy with the way it's distributed (which was necessary for the existence of the line), but all the positives far outweigh the negatives. Demonizing Mattel just because they don't do what you personally want got old about 5 years ago. Grow up and appreciate the fact that we're getting the best figures ever produced from this property.
As for Moss Man, I'm nostalgic about the flocking, but I'd much rather see paint and sculpt detail. Unflock him.

I think Toyguru/Scott posed the same questions at SDCC so it really isn't suprising there might be delay. Either way, I'm not really a fan of Moss Man so a new, unannounced figure for March sounds like a good idea. I'm sure it won't be a bonus figure like Battle Armor Skeletor or Prince Adam. The bonus figures should stay separated from the main monthly figures.
Flocked. I'm fine with the delay, just get him done right. The right way would be like the orginal Flocked!!!
I voted for the partial flock, as I really like that look.
Yeah, now that they are talking a partial flock I am all for that. I wouldnt mind the full, but the lack of articulation would be a deal breaker for many. A partial will get most people on both sides of the fence happy.
Articulation should trump everything else.
