I almost thought that I was an orb holder short, but then I found it magically hiding behind the throne. It's silly that they'd expect you to ship a ~20lbs box for one dinky little accessory.

LOL OMG

I figured for the hell of it I would try behind the throne and to my embaressment I just found my orb holder

You'd figure D.R. reps would have known to tell you to look there.... But if you've ever talked to them(and I have)you would probably figure out why.

A few years ago I called them when they sent me Hordak instead of Man at arms. They had no idea of what I was talking about

For one reason or another, this throne room display tickles me.

Boom. I thought that might have been the case.

I agree with Monkey on the Castle. Pretty underwhelmed and sticking to vintage only has made it less than what the 4H could do if given free reign.

I got mine on tuesday but i'm missing the holder for the orb

That sucks, man. And from what Scott has said on He-Man.org, it sounds like they'll make you fully ship the castle back, not just send you an orb holder.

Have you contacted Matty/ Digital River yet?

I pmed their customer service and I will forgo the holder instead of shipping it back

Well Matty keeps giving this crap excuse of having to send the whole castle back. All I need is the Orb Holder.Wouldn't it be cheaper for everybody just to send that out instead of making me ship the whole thing back?

With the madness of the holidays finally starting to settle a bit (at least until New Year's), I finally got around to opening my Castle Grayskull. I could have sworn that it was supposed to have been shipped with some sort of protective layer between the actual box and the shipping one. Mine didn't, and the corners suffered for it.

It's neat and all, but I gotta be honest: for all the hubbub that TG made about not being able to afford this and that in lieu of this accessory or that, I absolutely hate the accessories. They're garbage, and I don't use them (and no, I'm not going to sell them off - I want my CG complete). The hollowed out space suit? He stands at a slant and looks terrible in his designated spot/foot begs. Also, I'm pretty sure its inclusion lead directly to the whole trap door not falling into the dungeon fiasco. The ladder? Superfluous with the lift and too long to work for one floor, but too short to reach two. The jet pack? I'll never use that thing. The blaster? Nope. Carrying handle and topper that are one time assemblies? Not doing that either. Chains get hidden in the midget dungeon. The training dummy just takes up valuable display space - off you go. The only thing that I did keep on my display is the flag. Oh, and the extra weapons get put on the rack.

Yeah, I get it. These are all accessories from the vintage castle, but goddamn, does vintage slavishness get off-putting when I end up with a dungeon sticker just so I can get a goofy accessory that just goes into a storage bin.

Other major gripe would be the stability of the second and third tier floors. It's great that they're anchored in the back, but it doesn't exactly make them stable for all the weight they will be supporting in the front. I would have preferred some sort of support construct to secure the front edges of the top tiers. I've already had incidents of gravity/weight slanting them forward, which equals base-jumping figures for those figures with less than stellar ankle joints. Oh, and feet dangling off of the throne. That's just poop.

This playset does make me kind of want a 4" scaled MOTU line as I think they would scale more appropriately (please don't make 4" figures, Mattel).

I don't regret getting CG, but I do feel disappointment in the details. And the hole in the floor for the Wind Raider is even more moronic in person than it seemed from the first report.

Still, the 4H did an amazing job sculpting it, and I'll definitely enjoy using it as a display piece even if space constraints relegate it to being solely a facade.

Yeah, that is pretty stupid. Shipping the whole thing just so they can ship another one to you when it's such a small piece they can send. Even if they cover shipping, the time and gas spent is wasteful. If I was in your situation I would just use the stand that came with ToD Sorceress and move on.
