So I guess they aren't shortening West's Batman cape after all. It's not a deal breaker for me, but it does mean I'm more likely to keep his Bruce Wayne on at all times so it doesn't feel like I have two of the exact same figure. I imagine most who were already going to get this probably still will, I doubt the upgraded Batman was really the highest priority here, but I can definitely imagine a few collectors will be more miffed than I am.

Edit: And I must add, that is a mighty fine Burt Ward Robin. He's definitely my main motivator for getting this set!

I forgot until I got an email notice from McFarlane at 12:18PM (you'd thinkg for Platinum VIP members, they'd send the email sooner) and was suprised the bundle was still available. I wanted 3 of the 4 anyway and the bundle price was almost like getting one free. I ordered 2 bundles and the MTS10 discount covered the shipping cost.

Robin went fast. Catwoman actually lasted a few minutes. I only wanted her so was glad to the order through. I hope Star Sapphire and Raven though are more widely distributed.

Ugh. I really want that Robin and that Catwoman, but I don't think I'll have the money to pre-order either of them the day they go up. I'm pretty sure it's not like BBTS where they don't charge until they ship. Someone tell me if I'm wrong, but I think I'm gonna have to miss out on these. Sigh

Robin is annoying me because it's so close. I hate painted on details that should be sculpted like the scale mail crotch and the yellow straps on his chest.

I've been using the Batman 66 Robin & I think I'll stick with it. He looks appropriately short but not too short next to the 7" scale Batman. And I prefer quality of execution over total source accuracy & to my eyes the 66 Robin looks darn good.

Well, finally an updated Catwoman for the final curtain call by McFarlane. The Bane figure has been repainted so many times that I've lost count. The Robin looks a bit clunky, but it will sell out. Doomsday looks like a direct lift from the comics, very nice. Since it's going to be available at MTS only, this should be fun!

Oh, that's right - I remember now that you mention it! Clearly made a big impact on me!?

Lol seems like your probably not alone in that, since I've heard a lot of people saying."Oh todd just got to this" I guess ya real impact, If I can recall most people just wanted the Plastic Man BAF, because the wave was legit just more of the same, you know long hair pokey hand Aquaman, All Black Batman, John Stewart and Blue Man.

I don't know, those lightning effects broke off pretty easily in classics

I didn't have that problem with mine, but if that was a widespread thing then that's not good enough. But at least they tried!

He did already do these two Supermen, they were in the Plastic Man BAF wave, so these are just re=packs in a 2 pack, I'm hardly a DC Mcfarlane expert, but I recall the Blue one was a regular release, and the red was a platinum chase variant. Yeah so no Toddster already did these guys LOL.

Oh, that's right - I remember now that you mention it! Clearly made a big impact on me!?
