And likely just the beginning of revisiting the early releases. Now even their new characters are often Frankensteinian mish-mashes of already existing tooling, whether it makes sense or not. They went from the driving attitude of "let's give collectors what they want," to "anything to save a buck," and it's kind of depressing.
Well said! DC Multiverse really seems to be in crisis of sorts, it's apparent they initially spent way too much money into tooling of all original figures and now resort to repaints, they should have followed example of ML and even DCUC where reusable body types were the foundation instead of going for all original sculpts every single time, they could have saved a lot of money, make line more sustainable and even have consistency when it comes to scale.

Where are the improvements at ,pinless tech, better crotches, better proportions, nope just wired capes and everyone is happy. How this line makes it is baffling to me.

What in the....? The proportions on the Green Lantern are BAD. He literally gets smaller the further you go down the body, to the point that the legs below the knees - especially the feet, look like they belong on a significantly smaller character. Wow.
Probably the best Supes head sculpt to date, but, again, like the GL fig, what is up with the proportions (compared the width/mass of the shoulders to those wimpy little legs, etc.)? I guess I now why I didn't buy this fig the first time it was released. Poor Supes. Just can't get a truly solid fig from these guys. Either the proportions are bad, or the face sculpt is iffy to terrible.

They sell out because he's down to making like 5 figures total for highly demanded, comic-based stuff.

Those Green Lantern power effects... the jetpack and boxing glove(?)... look way too dark green and solid.
They should be a much brighter shade of green and more translucent

Well Im a Superman Mark. I said I wouldnt collect McFarlane. Now- I have a justice league set and the Vampires. Im looking forward to Christofer Reeves Superman because Im an old head . I get the reuse but COME ON!!! It still has the single jointed Arms!!! At least do the double joints. The figure is good, wired cape is nice but update the arms. And I would love to see a THIGH CUT, why dont he ever do a thigh cut except for ones that go on a bike or come with a bike . Im gonna pass on this one.
People are acting surprised this is basically just a reissue....did everyone just start collecting McFarlanes or something? He is notorious more than just about any other action figure company for doing this, it's kinda his thing. I couldn't even begin to list all the reused figures or even just reused bucks he's done. God, how many times has Batman figures especially been reused? Like Dkr Batman or Dark Detective Batman (Midnighter is DD Bats all day, just a repaint and shaved down ears..), McFarlane (and a lot of other action figure companies) reused a ton of figures constantly, I don't get why people are acting surprised by this. Plus, it's only a good thing for those who missed the older figure when he issues basically what amounts to a reissue, it give people (like me)the chance to grab a character they missed, like the Superman this ones based off of. Getting this one is a pleasant substitute for me because I love the way that version of Supes looks...
