Football season isn't starting for a few months but McFarlane Toys isn't waiting to release the newest boxed sets.

The first one arriving at retail is reminiscent of this February's Super Bowl match-up, featuring Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck.

Following the release of NFL Legends 2, McFarlane Toys will offer three-packs featuring some of the most popular teams in the National Football League. These three-packs will feature recent Sports Picks mixed with a pair of players making their Sports Picks debut. Some of the figures will be available in jerseys never seen before. Look for these NFL Sports Picks 3-packs in Toys R Us stores this fall:

* PITTSBURGH STEELERS: QB Ben Roethlisberger, WR Hines Ward & LB Joey Porter (Sports Picks debut)

* NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS: QB Tom Brady 2, RB Corey Dillon & LB Tedy Bruschi

* NEW YORK GIANTS: RB Tiki Barber 2, DE Michael Strahan & WR Plaxico Burress (Sports Picks Debut)

* DALLAS COWBOYS: QB Drew Bledsoe, RB Julius Jones & SS Roy Williams

The NFL 3-packs are due in Toys R Us stores in early September, the same time the NFL 13 line will be arriving in stores everywhere.
