THE FLASH #207 SELLS OUT AT DC COMICS
Just two days after racing into stores on February 25, THE FLASH #207 has sold out at DC Comics. This issue features the first chapter of "Flashback" by writer Geoff Johns (JSA, HAWKMAN) and the new art team of Howard Porter (JLA) & Livesay (Namor) and cover artist Michael Turner (Fathom).
"Geoff and I are having a blast on FLASH, and hearing that sales on #207 were so strong has energized us even more," says Porter. "I can't wait for people to see what we have in store for them — it just gets bigger and better! I'm so jazzed to be a part of some of the Flash's best adventures. Now if I could only stop running around the house in my red and yellow underwear my wife would be much happier."
"That's what we get for welcoming aboard such a wonderful talent like Howard Porter and the cover artist skills of Michael Turner," says Johns. "Joey Cavalieri and I have been working incredibly hard on this book, and I couldn't be happier with the results."
"Reader enthusiasm for THE FLASH was already high, and the new art team's work has propelled that enthusiasm even further," says Bob Wayne, DC's VP — Sales & Marketing. "Now's the time for retailers to increase their orders on upcoming issues."
Please note that DC Comics has no plans to go back to press at this time. Copies of this issue may still be available at retail.
Upcoming issues of THE FLASH are available as follows:
• THE FLASH #208 (JAN040236) is available for advance reorder and is scheduled to be in stores on March 31.
• THE FLASH #209 (FEB040256) is solicited in the February issue of Previews (Volume XIV #2) and is scheduled to be in stores on April 28.
• THE FLASH #210 (MAR040307) is solicited in the March issue of Previews (Volume XIV #2) and is scheduled to be in stores on May 26.
