ROBIN #124 SELLS OUT AT DC COMICS
ROBIN #124 (JAN040221), featuring the story “Good Parenting,” has sold out at DC Comics. Written by Bill Willingham with art by Francisco Rodriguez de la Fuente and Aaron Sowd and a cover by Jason Pearson, this issue arrived in stores on March 17 and sold out by March 22.
“The good news: It's nice to have one's work in demand, and I hope it inspires higher orders on the following issues, where all of the really neat stuff happens,” says Willingham. “The bad news: This storyline never could have occurred if Tim Drake had only thought to put a lock on his back-of-the-closet secret compartment. When will you teenagers learn that you aren't nearly as smart as you think you are and your folks aren't nearly as dumb as you think they are? Haven't we inflicted enough After School Specials on you to get at least that much across?”
“This storyline is a very powerful, and we’re confident that reader interest will continue to grow as they see what’s coming,” says Bob Wayne, DC’s VP — Sales & Marketing. “Now’s the time for retailers to increase their orders on upcoming issues of ROBIN.”
Adding to the momentum in the BATMAN group are the new sell-outs of NIGHTWING #91 (JAN040220) and BIRDS OF PREY #64 (DEC030242) and #65 (JAN040217).
DC has no plan to go back to press on these issues at this time. Please note that copies still may be available at retail.
Upcoming issues of ROBIN are available as follows:
• ROBIN #125 (FEB040238) is available for advance reorder and is scheduled to arrive in stores on April 21.
• ROBIN #126 (MAR040290) is solicited in the March issue of Previews (Volume XIV #3) and is scheduled to arrive in stores on May 19.
• ROBIN #127 (APR040287) is solicited in the April issue of Previews (Volume XIV #4) and is scheduled to arrive in stores on June 23.
WILDSTORM LINES UP NEW TITLES FOR SUMMER
This summer, WildStorm will release new collected editions, including the softcover edition of THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN Volume 2 from America’s Best Comics. Along with these collections, WildStorm is preparing THE AUTHORITY: HUMAN ON THE INSIDE, an original hardcover graphic novel written by acclaimed screenwriter and novelist John Ridley (Three Kings, U-Turn, Everybody Smokes in Hell) with full-color art by Ben Oliver (Puncture). The new titles are:

VERTIGO PREPARES SUMMER COLLECTED EDITIONS
Some of VERTIGO’s hottest creators will be featured in two new collected editions coming this summer, with a classic Grant Morrison project collected for the first time and the latest 100 BULLETS trade paperback.

DC ANNOUNCES NEW ELFQUEST AND SPIRIT COLLECTED EDITIONS
Some of comics most respected creators will be spotlighted this summer in new collected editions of both ELFQUEST and THE SPIRIT. The new titles are:

• A 192-page trade paperback collecting stories from ELFQUEST #11-14

GLAAD HONORS CATWOMAN WITH 2004 AWARD
On Sunday, March 28, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation honored CATWOMAN with its “Outstanding Comic Book” award as part of the annual GLAAD Media Awards.
"I'm thrilled to see our work on this book once again getting recognized by the outside media, although, personally, I thought that my GOTHAM CENTRAL partners, Greg Rucka and Michael Lark, deserved to win for their Renée Montoya arc," says CATWOMAN writer Ed Brubaker. "But it's great to see a depiction of a normal, loving couple who just happen to both be women getting recognition. Holly and Karon are two of my favorite characters to write, and I'm glad they've struck such a chord with readers, hopefully because of how real they are."
