Evil Dead/Army of Darkness Licensed Collectibles At Wizard World Chicago

Pittsburgh, PA (August 10, 2004): Online retailer Time & Space Toys is planning a display of medieval proportions during Wizard World Chicago this weekend. A mammoth collection of Evil Dead/Army of Darkness licensed collectibles will be displayed and for sale in their castle-themed booth, complete with a life-sized replica of Ash himself, along with a couple of deadites at his heels.

Prototypes of the company’s exclusive Army of Darkness Army Builder Action Figure Two-Pack, to be released next month, will be on display. This exclusive set, made by Palisades Toys, includes a special unique new sculpt armored knight based on the leader of the “primitive screw-heads” (Lord Arthur) and a special unique sculpt Deadite Skeleton soldier. Both figures stand approximately 4" tall and boast an incredible 20 points of articulation. Free gift certificates, redeemable at their online store, will be handed out to anyone who visits the booth. In addition, free gifts will be given to those placing an order at the show.

To top off the display, Evil Ash and Evil Sheila actors from BOOMSTICK!, a Musical Parody of Darkness, will be in the booth on Saturday in full costume. Performed by New Millennium Theatre Company, 'BOOMSTICK! is an original musical parody of the film ‘Army of Darkness’, and is playing through the month of August at the Boxer Rebellion Theater in Chicago.
