Playmates Toys Walmart Exclusive TMNT 35th Anniversary Black And White Turtles Boxset Official Details

We first told you about these the other week, but now Playmates Toys has official revealed their new Walmart Exclusive TMNT 35th Anniversary Black And White Turtles Boxset. As we reported before, this set will be sold by Walmart starting out on their Website only beginning on July 18 and then later will see release in physical stores. Besides the figure the set will also include a bonus version of the original 1984 TMNT comic book with a new cover penned by co-creator Kevin Eastman. Check out the updated images below.

They should have included more weapons & accessories takenfromthe comic booklike the Mondo release.

Meh. Due to the styling, they lacked some of the articulation of the other Turtle figures of the time, and had no weapon storage whatsoever. I might have still picked 'em up, but they didn't hit that hard here, and I ended up opting for a set of Chinese Neca knock-offs from Ebay.

They looknice, I remember the colored versions that came out a couple years back, they seemed ok, Ill stick with my Neca ones though.

I collected some of the Rise stuff but I hardly see anything new in my area. It's cool that at least other companies are releasingtmnt products but I would like to see something great from playmates. Here's hoping for comic con reveals.

I will try to get this at my local Walmart, but I won't stress about it. I love the tribute to the comics, but lately playmates has been dropping the ball on their TMNT line in my opinion.

These are the same "Comic Turtles" that Playmates released a couple years back. They're the same scale as Playmates' other Turtle figures.

I'm guessing they're about 4-5 inches tall. These turtlesseem to be reusingthe moldfrom the SDCC 2014 Raphael exclusive.
