TNI Spotlight: X2 Toys

With the opening of the new X2: X-Men Unite movie this weekend, we thought now was a good time to take a detailed look at Toy Biz's new line of series 1 figures and vehicle based off the new movie.










-Super Poseable Optic Blast Cyclops with X-Ploding Gun Base

This is a far superior figure than the Cyclops figure based off the first X-Men movie. The figure has articulation that is on par with Marvel Legends figures and comes with a GunBase that shoots missles and breaks apart as if exploding. He also comes with a removeable visor and light-up eyes. The last picture shows a comparison between the visor that comes with the new Cyclops figure and the one that came with the X-Men 1 figure.








- Super Poseable Nightcrawler with Bendy Tail & Wall Maountable Base

Nightcrawler also sports articulation that is on par with the Marvel Legends figures. He has a tail that the figure can use to hold things or just hang around with. The base is mountable on your wall and can be used to pose the figure in several different positions. The detail of the figure is very dead-on to it's movie counter-part including unfortunetly the god-awful looking pants he wears.








- Battle Attack Logan with Tornado Claw-Slashing Action

He's got claws and know's how to use them. Using the dial on Logan's back you can creat a tornado claw-slashing action that will cut a path through the bad guys. Logan also comes with an artic wolf who looks almost as mean as him.








- Super Poseable Wolverine with Battle Action Base

Wolverine comes with a base that allows you to stand the figure on. Then with a push of a button you can have the figure spin around in a slashing motion taking anything down in his path. With the added articulation this figure is also far superior to the Wolverine figure based on the first X-Men movie. It should be noted that the Jean Grey and Mystique figures shown above are from Toy Biz's series of figures based off the first X-Men movie.










- Electronic X-Jet

Can't have figures based on a blockbuster movie without having a cool vehicle to go along with it. The new X2 X-Jet has the following features:

* Automatic opening cockpit with sound
* Electronic light-up effects with sounds
* Shoots 2 missiles with laster blasting sound effects
* Raise or lower landing gear with added sounded effects
* Exclusive Wolverine figure.
