We take a look at some of Art Asylum's new Marvel Minimates that are hitting the shelves now.
One of the coolest things about these figures is that the parts form each Marvel MiniMate (MMM) are interchangeable with the other MMM's. For instance see here, mild-manner Bruce Banner transform into the Incredible Hulk.
You can have your Elektra figure with or without hair.
Seen here I have created a custom Matt Murdock MMM figures using parts from the Kingpin and Bruce Banner figure as ol' DD tries to find just the right look to please his woman.
The Kingpin is a man of style so when pinstripe pants are out, why not go with some pants that mach his shirt.
Unfortunately The MMM's are not very compatible with other larger scaled MiniMates.
Damit Jim! Im a doctor, not a blasted superhero.
Look for the Marvel MiniMates on the shelves of comic and specialty shops now and keep an eye out for them coming to general retail soon.
Also there will be a Diamond Select Toys exclusive Marvel MiniMate X-Men boxset coming down the road. The boxset will be based off Marvel Comic's Giant-Sized X-Men #1. Look for the packageing to re-create the look of this classic issue. Check back here during our SDCC coverage next week for a look at this new upcoming boxset.
