Shown below via @richhud89_ is a look at a few more Target store exclusive Spectrum Series figures for Hasbro's Power Rangers 6" Lightning Collection line which are hitting shelves now. These figures had not been officially announced by Hasbro for this Spectrum variant line, but you can see the two new deluxe/monster King Sphinx and Pumpkin Rapper figures as well as the Space Red Ranger with Astronema 2-pack are getting the foil package treatment. Again these Spectrum versions are exclusive to Target stores, but the regular versions will be released at other places like our sponsor

I don't see the appeal of the shinier packaging, especially if it's released alongside the regular figures.

I am shocked to see (and also not) that already these are hitting stores, also not shocked that dumb sparkly packaging is the only reason why this is a subline or something called Spectrum series... Packaging! you are slick cretins Hasbro for that one, I don't think we have seen a figure line get a alternate exclusive release of figures that will be regularly released but be re-named and exclusive because of the twinkling box it's actually appalling , now tons of completionists are going to run to grab, and scalpers run to scalp a box!

"hey bro did you see scalpersteve was selling that twinkley box for 80, that's the best price on the after market, I need to own that box, the spectrumness is so important to my collection"

Well, the difference must be the packaging, I don't see any difference in the figures themselves, with how bad the distribution is in retail stores I would rathet just get the regular versions online.

Spectrum Series?, what's the difference between the Spectrum series and the regular series?.

I think it's probably just a fancier name for what is commonly known in the Marvel Legends world as "Premium" figures or sets.

Is it just shinier packaging?
