Hasbro - Updated Look at G.I. Joe Classified Serpentor

Lenny Panzica of the G.I. Joe Brand brings us some new looks at the G.I. Joe Classified Series Serpentor from Hasbro.

"Before he was officially in the line I always knew I wanted to enhance the Cobra Emperor’s textures. I could imagine how epic he would look with his snake details and scales pushed in a more realistic direction. So it was super important that I designed the snake skin pattern to his suit in a way that made sense from an anatomy stand point. However I also needed to pay respect the the original design. The brass/gold color was something I found so fascinating as kid more than that the metallic finish brings his textures to life."

Yeah. I have one on the way and Im sure Ill be fine with it in hand. Maybe not perfect but good enough lol

These pics are glorious. Hasbro has done better with this G.I. Joe line.

For me its the cheekbones, theyre way too high and extreme. Looks unnatural

Yea Im not a fan of this headsculpt. Maybe its the seemingly pursed lips in conjunction with the hair

I agree. The faces make or break a figure. And here sadly, she just looks too much like someone with failed plastic surgery. I get that theyre going for the whole model look, but it worked way better in the promo pics. hoping that its just his figure and that in hand they look better, but well have to see

I saw some in hand pics of them on IG. Sadly, I didn't save the post and haven't found them again. They do look great tho. Way better than the promos images
