Apologies for not being more clear. My original statement was referencing that all their comic(Marvel/DC) offerings have only been based on animated properties. The live action movie properties are not comic based. My interest in Mondo would be figures of Marvel/DC characters that are not animated based.

Seems like only McFarlane and Hasbro are doing comic based figures. Hot Toys is just starting to get into it. They tend to be cheaper than Mondo 1/6th, as well, but they're also not specific to one artist and generally don't really have that off the page quality. I don't want to get off topic with this, but if you're not familiar, google "Hot Toys Hono" or "Hono Studio."

Yes, they are live action properties, and hence not animated. But whatever.

The companies you've listed generally have significantly better QC than Mondo. Mondo does have excellent customer service, however.

I can echo this on both counts.

It's why I've owned five She-Ras and only ordered two.

Damn, I don't know if I'd be able to bite on these, but the sculpts and paint are fantastic. They look like they just jumped off the screen.

It's not unheard for collector quality figures at 1/12 scale to run $100. Mezco, MAFEX, SH Figuarts, Good Smile, etc all produce figures similar in quality to Mondo and now that Mondo is entering the 6" market it stands to reason the price tag would be similar.

So? Its still ridiculous for both these and their 12 lines. Youre paying for a name brand. Theres no reason why these shouldnt be $50 each or even lower. I never want to hear another person complain about Super7s prices from any line.

So evidently they will be single releases as well. Not sure if that helps anyone but it might if you're just wanting the busters and no ghosts.

I like Mondo overall as a company and I think they do incredible work. But these Ghostbusters for this price is not adding up. This is going to be a hard pass for me.

Mondo doesn't do cheap, either in quality or price. If they're charging $101 for a 6" Ghostbuster expect it to be the definitive version of that character.

I get it. I have some Mondo BTAS figures. It's just 6" figures at that price, is out of my price range.

Those are live action properties. I was mainly referencing that every Marvel and DC has been based on animated only so far.
